so its been like a month since i was bored enough to write a journal...which is probably a good thing

but anyways, this summer has been pretty kick ass i've been with friends almost everyday, or at the very least ive been working. i also got a cell phone, had to replace my zune 120, and burnt my elbow pretty badly with 400 degree metal. so ya, pretty uneventful

so here is where the help part comes in. my friends are planning a trip to mertle beach in South Carolina, which is a good 14 hour drive from here. and in a different country. this trip would have pretty limited supervision (almost none), would last one week, would involve both guys and girls (which leads to some problems with my rents *-)) and like i said, would be in a different country. my mom is worried i might get hurt and need a hospital, and would end up with no health care, then she is worried about there being both guys and girls, with no supervision, and of course the fact that i would be 14 hours away etc. so i would appreciate and ideas on how i could convince her to let me go....ku im stumped :/ thanks in advance
